Terrific, this data is exactly what I was searching for. I am beyond doubt thankful to this topic because it indeed gives useful information. Very well written blog. I look forward to finding more. This blog is bookmarked! I absolutely love the stuff you have put here.
Thank you for such an informative blog especially during this crucial time. I hope people wake up soon
Thank you!!
You are most welcome. And your photography blog is stunning
V8 tomato drinks contain 0 per cent high fructose corn syrup. I mean none at all. Is it possible that the vegetables are GMO’s because there is absolutely no high fructose corn syrup whatsoever. I’m holding a bottle right now (unless it’s not listed in the ingredients…is that what you are stating?”)
Hello! You’re right, there is no longer any HFCS listed, however there are still “natural flavorings” which can contain corn-based thickeners and MSG, and may contain HFCS since the FDA considers that ingredient to be “sourced from a plant.” Check out this article about “natural flavorings.” And thanks for reminding me that I needed to update this info after Campbell’s little “blanketing effort.”

Thanks for this. Just to correct, Gatorade is owned by PepsiCo. PepsiCo also owns Quaker which may have been the confusion.
Thanks, I’ve updated it to be more specific.
Just something to remember…a product “can” or “may” contain something doesn’t mean it does. Good info over all.
In the above list, there’s no “can or may” involved. These are verified “do” contains.
You can also add Ocean Spray cranberry juices. I contacted them about GMOs abd they admit to using GMO sugar derived from sugar beets in their products. I have switched to making ALL of my own juices now.
Gary, thanks so much for sharing what you learned! (though I’m sad to hear it). Ocean Spray makes a variety of juices, I’m wondering if you’d get the same response about all of them? (I’m kinda guessing you would…) :-\
I meant to say “sugar derived from GMO sugar beets”.
For two and half years I worked in a local mine to help replenish our savings after building a mortgage free house. Miners are not known for their high intellect or educational demands. However, several younger miners told me during lunchtime discussions: “If I don’t kill it (hunting) or grow it, I don’t eat it.” (or feed it to his family.) These rural people don’t watch alot to television either. I trust these young people more than my long ago college professors.
thanks for this very helpful indeed. Is the Tropicana Regular juice gmofree?
Jack I have not been able to do the in-depth research necessary yet to answer your question with certainty. From the surface, it would appear the regular juice is GMO free…
Does the v8 information also include the fusion line? I see strawberry banana listed, but I know that they have many varieties. Thank you!
I would need to view the label on the rest of their Fusion line; the last time it was checked, that flavor was clearly using GMO ingredients. I’ll see what I can track down; do you by chance have a photo you can post to our Facebook page?
